VA Technical Career Field (TCF) trainee program
The VA TCF trainee program is a national workforce development program designed to replenish technical staff in positions where we face a critical need. These positions function like apprenticeships: intensive, 2-year training programs that are required for certain career paths. At the end of your training, there’s the possibility of continued employment with VA.
HR Specialist Training and Accelerated Readiness (HR-STAR)
HR STAR is a one-year training program for recent graduates, including those in human resources. Get started on a path to a VA career by applying to one of 2 career tracks. You’ll receive a paid salary, benefits, and a training/travel stipend as you apply your new skills to supporting our team.
