Make an October event the beginning of your VA career

A VA recruiter stands at a booth at one of the national events we attend.

It’s been a busy year for our recruiters, as they’ve traveled to events all across the country to share the good word about what it means to work at VA.

We’re not done yet, though. As we enter into October, we’ll take a few more trips and meet more professionals just like you as we attend events with:

ANESTHESIOLOGY 2024

Another city we’ll visit twice in October is Philadelphia, and our first trip will be to ANESTHESIOLOGY 2024, the annual meeting of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, which will run from Oct. 18-22, 2024.

The event promises sessions on everything from the continuing opioid crisis and ERAS protocols to workforce shortages and physician well-being. VA will have recruiters on hand to share how you can bring your career to VA and support Veterans as part of our Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACTs).

American College of Gastroenterology

Our second trip to Philadelphia will see us join the American College of Gastroenterology for the annual Scientific Meeting and Postgraduate Course on Oct. 27-30, 2024.

The event offers clinicians, academicians, researchers, trainees, advanced practice providers, and other professionals access to experts for in-depth discussions of cutting-edge topics. Our expert recruiters, too, will be available to tell you about the advancements you can enjoy at VA.

U.S. Psych Congress

From Oct. 29-Nov. 2, 2024, we’ll return to Boston to participate in the 37th annual U.S. Psych Congress, the premier conference on for mental health professionals—psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, physicians, and more.

VA is committed to providing extensive mental health care for Veterans, and our recruiters will be on hand to tell you all about our cutting-edge mental health research, as well as opportunities to teach, mentor, advance your education, or pursue leadership and executive positions.
